The first Turkish astronaut, Alper Gezeravcı, met with young people at Ege University following his visits to Edirne and Balıkesir.

Alper Gezeravcı shared his experiences with young people at the Youth Meeting held at the Ege University Prof. Dr. Yusuf Vardar MÖTBE Culture Center, which was attended by Minister of Industry and Technology Mustafa Varank. Gezeravcı also posed for photos at the end of the program.

IN THE SAME FRAME AS HAMZA DAĞ

While Gezeravcı's tour of various provinces with only days left until the local elections has drawn attention, his appearance in the same frame as Hamza Dağ, the AKP and MHP candidate for İzmir Metropolitan Municipality Mayor, did not go unnoticed.

Journalist İsmail Saymaz criticized Gezeravcı for appearing in the same frame as Hamza Dağ.

Sharing the photo of Gezeravcı with Hamza Dağ, Saymaz stated, "They are parading Alper Gezeravcı around like the TCG Anadolu ship."

Saymaz continued as follows;

"This is still mild... They could have made him perform the 'rabia' sign and sing the Dombra song from the Galata Tower to the Üsküdar coast, and then fly him around."
