Israel motion accepted in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey
The motion from the Speaker of the Parliament regarding the attacks on humanitarian aid flotillas heading to Gaza was accepted unanimously by the General Assembly of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey.
The motion announced by the Grand National Assembly of Turkey stated:
"It must be known that the attack carried out today on the Ship of Conscience, which carried 21 of our citizens, is in fact a vile attack on the Grand National Assembly of Turkey itself.
We warn Israel in the strongest possible terms that our citizens, including our members of parliament, must not be subjected to ill-treatment, must be released, and must be allowed to reach our country."
