The clashes between Israel and Hamas in the Gaza Strip continue to cause reactions in Turkey as well. Along with many food products, brands are being boycotted.
Many AKP-run municipalities had announced that they were banning the sale of 'Israeli-owned' products in their municipal subsidiary markets.
Another business that implemented the boycott decision was the Agricultural Credit Cooperative, an institution under the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry. It was observed that some products were removed from the shelves on the grounds that they were 'Israeli products'.
