Israel strikes Khamenei's bunker again with 50 fighter jets

The Israeli military bombed the underground bunker of the late Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei in Tehran again with a fleet of 50 fighter jets. Israel stated that the bunker in question is still being used by high-level officials of the Iranian regime.

A spokesperson for the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said in a statement that the bunker spans a large area and contains numerous entry points and meeting rooms for high-level officials of the Iranian regime. The spokesperson stated, “The leadership complex served as the center and most important headquarters of the regime. The destruction of this bunker further deepens the damage to command and control capabilities.”

ATTACK CARRIED OUT WITH 50 FIGHTER JETS

Approximately 50 fighter jets belonging to the Israeli Air Force targeted the area where high-level members of the Iranian regime gathered and dropped about 100 bombs. Military sources stated that the bunker was built beneath the complex and was a secure emergency resource used by the leader to manage the war. However, Khamenei died in the attack before he had the opportunity to use this secure bunker.

The Israeli military claims that after Khamenei was killed on the first day of the war, this complex continued to be used by high-level members of the Iranian regime. This area, which maintained strategic importance even after Khamenei's death, has frequently been the target of attacks.

The Israel Defense Forces have carried out several attacks on Iran's “leadership complex” in Tehran. The first attack took place with the targeting of Khamenei's compound. As a result of this attack, the Iranian supreme leader died. According to military sources, eight high-level Iranian officials were killed in a separate attack on a nearby building.
