Israeli army kills 2 more journalists in Gaza: Number of journalists killed rises to 126

In a written statement issued by the Gaza government's Media Office, it was stated that journalists Ela Hasan al-Hims and Engam Ahmed Adwan lost their lives in attacks carried out by the Israeli army on the cities of Rafah and Jabalia in the Gaza Strip.

It was noted that the number of journalists killed by Israel in Gaza since October 7 has risen to 126.

In a previous statement made by the Media Office, it was stated that Israel is "deliberately killing journalists in Gaza with the aim of silencing the voice of Palestine, concealing the truth, and preventing news and information from reaching regional and international public opinion."

In the attacks carried out by Israel on the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, at least 28,340 Palestinians, including 12,000 children and 8,190 women, have been killed, and 67,984 Palestinians have been injured.
