Israel's statement on Gaza: When will the attacks end?
Israeli National Security Advisor Tzachi Hanegbi said he expects the Israeli army's attacks on the Gaza Strip, which have been ongoing since October 7, to continue until the end of this year.
Participating in a radio program in Israel, Israeli National Security Advisor Tzachi Hanegbi made assessments regarding the attacks on Gaza.
Hanegbi stated that he expects the attacks on Gaza, which began on October 7, 2023, to continue for at least the remainder of this year.
Regarding the situation in the Philadelphi Corridor, which stretches along the Palestine-Egypt border, Hanegbi reported that 75 percent of this area is currently under Israeli control.
While Israel's attacks on the blockaded Gaza Strip have continued uninterrupted for 236 days, the army's offensive against Rafah in the southern part of Gaza persists.
In the attacks carried out by Israel on the Gaza Strip, at least 36,171 Palestinians have been killed, including at least 15,328 children and 10,171 women, and 81,420 people have been injured.
While it is reported that thousands remain dead under the rubble, civilian infrastructure is also being destroyed by targeting hospitals and educational institutions where the public has taken shelter.
