Istanbul Anatolian Chief Public Prosecutor's Office launches 'black market ticket' investigation
The Sports Crimes Investigation Bureau of the Istanbul Anatolian Chief Public Prosecutor's Office has launched an ex officio investigation into allegations that tickets for football matches are being sold and transferred outside of official sales channels.
In a statement from the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, it was noted that access bans have been imposed on certain websites identified as facilitating unauthorized ticket sales in order to prevent the victimization of fans and sports clubs.
The websites for which access has been blocked include kombinedevret.com, varbillet.com, biletwise.com, ticketfoni.com, and ticketbix.com.
