DETENTION COMMENT FROM ISTANBUL BAR ASSOCIATION PRESIDENT
Interpreting the process as the instrumentalization of law, Saraç included the following statements:
"The search of our colleague Attorney Feyza Altun's home and her detention constitute the use of protective measures regulated in the Criminal Procedure Code (CMK) for the purpose of punishment. It is the instrumentalization of law. This operation, which is clearly politically motivated, must be ended and our colleague must be released immediately."
