Istanbul-bound lanes on the Anatolian Motorway to be closed: Bolu Governor's Office warns drivers
The Istanbul-bound direction will be closed to traffic due to superstructure repairs between the Dörtdivan and Yeniçağa junctions; transportation will be provided in a controlled manner.
The Bolu Governor's Office has announced that superstructure repair work will be carried out on the section of the Anatolian Motorway between the Dörtdivan Junction and the Yeniçağa Junction. Due to the work, the Istanbul-bound direction of the road will be closed to traffic.
According to the Governor's Office statement, transportation in the region will be provided in both directions and in a controlled manner from the Ankara direction. Traffic flow will be organized to have 2 lanes for the Ankara direction and 2 lanes for the Istanbul direction.

The work is targeted to be completed on Friday, August 28, 2026, at 17:00. Once the repairs are finished, the closed section is planned to be reopened to traffic.
Authorities have requested that drivers using the route pay attention to traffic signs and markers, and be careful to follow speed and following distance rules in the work zone.
