Istanbul dam occupancy rates rise to 59.1%! January 18 figures
The total amount of water in the 10 dams supplying water to Istanbul is hovering above 50 percent for the first time in months. While recent rainfall in the megacity has increased the amount of water in the dams, the water level was most recently measured at 59.1 percent.
Istanbul dam occupancy rate was measured at 59.1%.
These figures show that the water level in the dams has increased with the recent rainfall. In particular, while the Elmalı Dam has the highest occupancy rate, the Pabuçdere Dam has the lowest water level.
