Istanbul Governor Davut Gül, in a statement made on his social media account, noted that temperatures are dropping and asked Istanbul residents to be sensitive in helping those left on the streets.
Governor Gül, in a post on his social media account, stated that the air temperature in Istanbul has dropped to 4 degreesandurgedcitizensdropping, stating, "As the Istanbul Governorship, we do not leave our homeless citizens on the streets for any of the 365 days of the year, and we host them in suitable facilities with the support of our Ministry of Family and Social Services. As temperatures dropduring these days We ask our fellow Istanbul residents to be even more sensitive about notifying us by calling 112 if they see people left on the streets. Our goal is to leave noone outin the cold winter evenings,exposedto the elements," he stated.
