Istanbul Governor Gül responds to 'Will schools be closed on Monday?'
Istanbul Governor Davut Gül shared the latest developments regarding the snowfall affecting Istanbul.
Responding to a question about school closures, which millions of students and parents are curious about, Governor Gül stated that whether schools will be closed on Monday depends on the weather conditions.
Sharing the latest developments regarding the snowfall affecting Istanbul on TV100, Gül answered a question about whether schools would be closed on Monday, February 24.
"WE WILL ENJOY SCHOOL"
Sharing the latest data on meteorological forecasts with the public, Gül said, "This closure matter is not something that depends on my wish or is arbitrary. If the weather is bad, there will be a closure, but if the weather is good, there is no need for a closure. Our children have missed their teachers. As far as we can see from the meteorological forecasts, the weather will be nice on Monday. Starting from Monday, we will enjoy school," he stated.
