Istanbul Governor's Office issues warning for heavy rain and storm
In a statement issued by the Istanbul Governor's Office, it was reported that, according to assessments by the Turkish State Meteorological Service, heavy downpours are expected in the city starting from Friday evening, October 24.
The statement indicated that winds blowing as a storm (50-75 km/h) from the southwest will be effective on October 27 and 28.
The Governor's Office warned citizens to be careful and take precautions against negative conditions such as floods, water inundation, lightning, strong winds during precipitation, and disruptions in transportation.
