Istanbul Governor's Office rejects CHP's 'Gaza' request
The Istanbul Governor's Office has rejected a request from the CHP to hold a march on the Galata Bridge to protest Trump's attempts to displace the Palestinian people from Gaza.
The Istanbul Governor's Office did not grant permission for the 'From the River to the Sea, Free Palestine March' that the CHP wanted to organize on the Galata Bridge to protest attempts aimed at the displacement of the Palestinian people.
In the area where the Governor's Office did not grant permission, a march in support of Palestine had previously been held under the leadership of the Turkey Youth Foundation (TÜGVA), which is known for its proximity to the government.
