Istanbul police to use luxury vehicles from Comanchero gang
Twenty-one luxury vehicles seized following the dismantling of the Comanchero motorcycle gang have been put into service for the Istanbul police. The vehicles have been wrapped in white and adorned with police decals.
Istanbul police will begin using 21 luxury vehicles seized as a result of an operation against the Comanchero gang.
According to a report in the Hürriyet newspaper, the vehicles belonging to the Comanchero motorcycle gang, which was dismantled in an operation last month, include a Ferrari 488 GTB, Bentley Continental GT, Land Rover Range Rover L460, Porsche Taycan Turbo, and the latest models from Mercedes, BMW, and Audi.
These luxury vehicles were registered to the inventory of the Istanbul Police Department Traffic Inspection Branch following an initiative by the Ministry of Interior and a judicial decision. The vehicles, which were kept in a warehouse in Pendik, have been wrapped in white, labeled with "police" markings, and fitted with police decals. Additionally, sirens and roof lights have been installed on the vehicles.
The market value of the vehicles is stated to be over 100 million TL. The vehicles will be put into service to patrol the streets of Istanbul in the coming days.
