It did not include Atatürk in the Friday sermon: A message from the Diyanet for the "November 10 Atatürk Commemoration Day"
The Diyanet, which did not include its founder Atatürk in today's Friday sermon, commemorated Atatürk in a message published for November 10.
The Presidency of Religious Affairs (Diyanet), which did not include Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk in its Friday sermon on the 85th anniversary of his passing during the 100th year of the Republic, has published a commemoration message on its social media account.
The message stated, "We commemorate the founder of our Republic, Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, on the 85th anniversary of his passing with respect and gratitude, as we reach the 100th anniversary of its founding. We see it as a debt of loyalty to our heroic ancestors and our glorious history to strengthen and carry our heavenly homeland and values, which were entrusted to us through great sacrifices, into the future. As the children of an honorable past, our duty today is to revive our civilizational values; to work with all our might for the survival of our state and the prosperity of our nation, and to carry the pristine legacy of our ancestors into the future."
