It emerged after the local elections: Murat Kurum had that information removed from his resume!

After losing the March 31 Local Elections to CHP's IMM candidate Ekrem İmamoğlu, it was revealed that Murat Kurum, who was later appointed as the Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, had begun his professional career as a 'Site Manager' at GETSAŞ, a company owned by Aydın Ateş, who was arrested for FETÖ links and which was closed down after July 15.

According to a report by Sözcü, Wikipedia had added the information about Kurum's employment at GESTAŞ to his biography with the phrase, "He served as a site manager at GESTAŞ, which was closed due to its links with Fethullahists."

HE HAD HIS EMPLOYMENT AT THE FETÖ COMPANY REMOVED

However, Kurum had the information about his employment at the FETÖ company removed from Wikipedia. Wikipedia had previously included the following information: "Between 1999 and 2005, he worked at construction sites in different regions of Turkey; during this period, he served as a site manager at GESTAŞ, which was closed in 2016 due to its links with Fethullahists."

Wikipedia later changed this information to: "Kurum worked in the private sector between 1999 and 2005, serving as an engineer at construction sites in various cities across Turkey."
