Former Minister of Agriculture and Forestry and AKP Kahramanmaraş MP Vahit Kirişçi has become a topic of discussion due to a story he shared on his social media. It has emerged that Kirişçi fulfilled the request for nepotism that he accidentally shared after receiving it from a village headman (muhtar).
A village headman from Kahramanmaraş requested nepotism for his nephew, who was taking an interview for the Forestry Directorate. It was revealed through documents showing the hiring list that the AKP deputy did not turn down that request.
Sinan Kilit, the headman of Hacıbebek neighborhood in the Türkoğlu district of Kahramanmaraş, made a request to former minister Vahit Kirişçi, stating, "We are neighborhood residents who have served our cause for years."
Sinan Kilit, who asked for nepotism for his nephew who was interviewing to become an operator at the Forestry Directorate, said, "If you could help our citizen Avni Gök, I would be very grateful on behalf of the neighborhood and myself."
