Journalist Metin Cihan has alleged that Eti Maden, a subsidiary of the Turkey Wealth Fund, sent a total of 21 tons of boron ore to a company that also provides services to the Israeli military.

In the "trade with Israel" issue, which remained on the agenda as government members and AKP officials were occasionally protested before the March 31 local elections, a new document has emerged that allegedly shows the state itself is 'directly' involved.

Journalist Metin Cihan, who has been posting on his social media account since the day Israel's attacks on Gaza began, claiming that Turkey continues its trade shipments with Israel, alleged that Eti Maden, under the Turkey Wealth Fund, sent boron ore to the Israeli company Fertilizers & Chemicals.

According to the document shared by Cihan on his social media account, the loading onto the ship bound for Israel took place at Gemlik Port on March 23, 2024. The ship arrived at Israel's Ashdod port on March 29, 2024, and then at the Port of Haifa on April 1, where the delivery was completed.

Cihan, in his post, said, "This is the document of our state's direct trade with Israel while the massacre in Gaza continues. Let's look at what the document says one by one. You can easily verify all of them," and used the following expressions:

"Who is the sender?

Eti Maden. A 100% public institution. A Turkey Wealth Fund (TVF) company. Erdoğan is at the head of the TVF.

Who is the recipient?

Fertilizers & Chemicals Ltd. A large Israeli company that produces various chemicals. It also serves the Israeli military.

What is the product sent?

Boron ore. Yes, that famous boron ore. In powder form as boric acid, in 25 kg packages, 21 tons in total.

When and where was it sent from?

It was loaded at Gemlik Port on March 23, 2024.

When and where was it delivered?

On March 29, 2024, the ship arrived at Israel's Ashdod port, and then on April 1, it arrived at the Haifa port, and the delivery was made.
