REVEALED THAT SHE BOUGHT AND SOLD 65 VEHICLES
It was revealed that Özgünlü, known on social media as the "dog guardian," used donation money to buy and sell 65 vehicles.
In the investigation conducted by the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office's Smuggling and Organized Crime Investigation Bureau, eight suspects, including Özgünlü, were taken into custody.
Three of the suspects, who were referred to the courthouse after their procedures at the police station, were arrested on charges of "breach of trust due to service" and "laundering assets derived from crime." Four individuals released under judicial control are being monitored as part of the investigation.
WHAT HAPPENED?
The assets and commercial relations of Buket Özgünlü Boyacı, President of the Yaşama Tutunan Patiler Association, who introduced herself on social media as the 'Dog Guardian' and allegedly pocketed millions, were placed under scrutiny by the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office. It was discovered that under the umbrella of the association, Özgünlü used donations to buy and sell luxury vehicles and acted as an intermediary in suspicious commercial transactions.
