The incident occurred around 01:30 AM in an apartment building in the Kazım Dirik neighborhood. According to information obtained by 12punto.com.tr, Fırat Bozkurt and Şirin Bozkurt had joined their lives one month ago by entering into their third marriages.

THEY FIRST ARGUED AT A CAFE

According to allegations, minor arguments had occurred between the couple due to their previous marriages. On the evening of the incident, the two first went to a cafe. An argument broke out between the couple, who had gone to the cafe to have a good time. Şirin Bozkurt left the cafe and went home.

SHE STABBED HIM AT HOME

When Şirin Bozkurt went home and saw that her husband had not followed her, she allegedly returned to the cafe. Şirin Bozkurt picked up her husband, who was sitting at the cafe, and returned home. At home, an argument broke out again between the two regarding connections to their former spouses. As the argument escalated, Şirin Bozkurt took a knife from the kitchen and stabbed her husband, Fırat Bozkurt, in the heart.

TAKEN INTO CUSTODY

Ş.B., who killed her husband by stabbing him, sent her 18-year-old son from a previous marriage, Ç.G., who was in the house at the time and in shock, to a neighbor. Upon the notification of building residents who heard the noise, police and 112 Emergency Health teams were dispatched to the address. Checks by health teams determined that Fırat Bozkurt had lost his life. Şirin Bozkurt was taken into custody by teams from the İzmir Police Department's Homicide Bureau.
