İYİ Party Koyulhisar Mayor resigns from his party
İYİ Party Koyulhisar Mayor Bora Karakullukçu has announced his resignation from his party.
Koyulhisar Mayor Bora Karakullukçu stated in a post on his social media accounts, "From the very first day I took office, I have carried the responsibility of the trust you placed in me and the support you gave me, and I have worked with great effort and dedication to serve our district.
I have always viewed politics not as a tool for position or status, but as a means to serve our nation and our country.
With this understanding, I will continue to carry out my responsibility to serve our Koyulhisar with the same determination as I have until today.
At the point we have reached today, in line with my evaluations and the responsibility I carry, I have resigned from my İYİ Party membership of my own free will and volition.
I hope that this decision I have made will be met with common sense and understanding by the entire public, especially my esteemed fellow citizens," he said.
