İYİ Party Leader Dervişoğlu on who they can meet with: Reaction to 'Imralı mailmen'

Dervişoğlu stated at the iftar held at the Güzelyalı Covered Neighborhood Market in the central Çukurova district that their party was founded and is sustained by the nation. 

Underlining that they share their solution proposals regarding all of the country's problems with the public, he said: "We do not settle for just identifying problems; we also exert effort and produce projects at the point of solution.

We shared one of the projects we produced with the public this week. We submitted the legislative proposal we call the 'welfare package' to the Grand National Assembly of Turkey. We will see what the government does."

Dervişoğlu emphasized that he does not refrain from talking to any political party and continued his words as follows:

"Our views are clear. Since they have nothing to tell us, they haven't even requested an appointment.

What information are you going to give me? Those who need to provide us with information on the subject are not the Imralı mailmen.

If they want to knock on our door to either provide information or be held accountable, let Recep Tayyip Erdoğan come and sit with us, and let's discuss the issue. Let's talk with the Minister of National Defense, the Minister of Interior, the authorized bodies of the Justice and Development Party, and the Undersecretary of the MIT.

If they want to inform us on behalf of the state, our door is open, but we will never sit down with those who grovel at the door of a terrorist."

Expressing that they will continue to stand for the unity of Turkey today and tomorrow as they always have, Dervişoğlu noted that they will continue their struggle to bring the nation together with facts and truths until the end.
