İYİ Party's Türkkan reacts to DEM Party and 'journalist-like men': I saw that they are all turncoats
İYİ Party Kocaeli MP Lütfü Türkkan shared a post on his social media account regarding the stance of the DEM Party and 'pro-government journalists'.
While reactions from various fronts have been directed at the DEM Party for its statements condemning the clashes between the Syrian army and the SDF, voices of protest have also begun to rise from journalists who were making different comments just a few months ago.
İYİ Party's Türkkan commented on the situation, stating that he had gone through pro-government channels one by one to observe the attitudes and statements of these journalists following the recent shift.
Lütfü Türkkan expressed his reaction with the following words:
"For the first time in a very, very long time, I went through all the pro-government channels one by one this evening.
I also watched all the well-known pro-government and sycophantic journalists.
All those who were praising the DEM just 3 months ago are now saying, in short, 'If the DEM does not watch its step, it will be responsible for the situation it will face'.
When we stated our disagreement with the DEM, and explained that their goal was neither peace, nor democracy, nor a 'Turkey without terror', I saw once again that all these journalist-like men who hurled vulgar insults at us are nothing but turncoats."
