Striking statement from the lawyer of Jahrein 'Ahmet Sonuç': He was made to walk again because his head was not bowed enough

Burhanettin Mumcuoğlu, the lawyer for Ahmet Sonuç, known by the name 'Jahrein' on social media, made statements on his social media account regarding the arrest. Stating that the purpose of the arrest was to intimidate content creators and streamers on the internet through Jahrein, Mumcuoğlu included the expression, "Even the accusation used as a pretext for the arrest is humiliating," in his social media statement.

When a user pointed out that Jahrein was made to walk down the hallway again with his head bowed because he had walked with his "head held high," and that footage was taken, Mumcuoğlu replied, "You identified it correctly; he was made to walk again in the same hallway because his 'head was not bowed enough'."

Jahrein had used the expressions, "What is my wife's sister to me, damn it? What is she to me? Is she my sister-in-law? If she were my sister-in-law, I would have already f***ed her," during a broadcast he made on a social media platform titled 'Incel Chat Room'. Jahrein had made a statement following the reactions to these words. The individuals with the usernames 'Rockerpuck_Evil' and 'Pungent 666' were also present during the broadcast. Both individuals were arrested by the court they were brought before on charges of obscenity.

A statement regarding the incident came from Jahrein's lawyer, Burhanettin Mumcuoğlu, via his social media account after Jahrein was arrested yesterday evening. Emphasizing that the claims that Jahrein would 'flee' were lies and stating that he was 'standing strong,' Mumcuoğlu wrote the following:

'IT WAS OBSERVED THAT THERE WAS NO NEGATIVITY IN THE HOUSEHOLD'

"My client Ahmet Sonuç (Jahrein) was arrested and sent to prison as of Friday, September 13. There is no legal explanation for what has happened. There is no situation that requires his detention. The most painful part of the matter is that the Ministry of Family was brought in to conduct an investigation following the decision. My client's one-year-old son has a mother who has dedicated her life to her son by his side; even making this statement is gut-wrenching. Fortunately, we hope that this investigation issue, which we find difficult to accept, has come to an end. An inspection was carried out at the household by experts affiliated with the Ministry, and it was observed that there was no negativity.

The reason for the delay in my statement is the necessity of dealing with such situations. My client, who was called by law enforcement via phone because he was not at home, went to the police station himself within a few minutes; he has immediately complied with every police invitation to date. We leave it to your conscience that an arrest warrant was issued on the grounds that two video clips, one from two years ago and the other from three years ago, which millions of people can still access, could be hidden. Despite holding an EU passport in addition to his Turkish citizenship, my client returned to his country permanently and established his business and home in his country.
