In Çorum, at the Başöğretmen İmam Hatip Secondary School in the Gülabibey neighborhood, school principal Hacı Ömer Atılgan and school staff member Mehmet Öztürk, who had called an ambulance to send a student who had fallen ill to the hospital, were beaten with chains by the student's father, Saeed Daeh H., and an unidentified person he brought with him.

Seeing other teachers arriving after hearing the sounds of the fight, the suspects fled the school.

Upon notification, police and medical teams were dispatched to the school.

The principal and the school staff member, who were injured by the blows they received, were taken to the Hitit University Erol Olçok Training and Research Hospital after receiving initial intervention from medical teams.

GOVERNOR ASKED THE POLICE CHIEF: 'They left the country through illegal routes'

Responding to journalists' questions on the matter, Governor Zülkif Dağlı turned to the police chief to ask about the status of the attackers when questioned.

In response to the police chief's reply, "They left the country through illegal routes," Governor Dağlı said, "It is impossible for them to enter again."
