Mehmet Akif Ersoy stated, "Because he took a great risk and took the major step that would lead to the end of this, and because he made the call that refers to us being together again, why shouldn't the Nobel Peace Prize be given to Mr. Bahçeli? When Mr. Bahçeli uttered this sentence, even MHP members paused and said, 'How are we going to explain this?' Bahçeli, who made this historic call, should be nominated for the Nobel.
