BirGün reporter İsmail Arı was detained by police teams on the night of March 21 in Tokat, where he was visiting for the holiday.

After his processing in Tokat, Arı was brought to Ankara and appeared before a judge on the evening of March 22.

In its decision to arrest journalist İsmail Arı, the court cited his news reports as the justification.

Following this decision, Arı was sent to Sincan Prison.

After his arrest, İsmail Arı sent a message to the public from prison, drawing attention to the fact that the operation was carried out on a holiday.
