Striking allegation from journalist Şebnem Koç against BengüTürk anchor Doğmiş: He sent a picture of his genitals

A scandalous harassment allegation has been made against an employee of BengüTürk, a channel known for its proximity to the MHP.

Journalist Şebnem Koç alleged that BengüTürk news anchor Yusuf Doğmiş sent her a picture of his genitals.

Koç also shared a WhatsApp conversation she claims to have had with Doğmiş.

In a post on her social media account, journalist Şebnem Koç stated the following:

"First of all, I would like to thank all my friends who called and asked about the situation, who know that I do not have populist concerns, who believe in me and do not withhold their support, and who even offered to take on my legal representation. However, in this situation, I need a professional more than a friend. After overcoming my emotional distress, I have, of course, given power of attorney to my lawyer to initiate the necessary legal process.

This is not the first time, and it will not be the last. Until today, I have occasionally encouraged women who have experienced such cases not to remain silent. I have always supported them and added my voice to theirs. However, since issues regarding women in our country are not placed on a secure foundation, being a victim myself is something entirely different; I have experienced this.

Dozens of questions occupy one's mind, such as 'Will they believe me? Will my space of freedom narrow one way or another? Is it worth the trouble?' Nevertheless, no matter what happens, we will not remain silent, as we always have, in a way that befits us, and we will not hide it. We will not allow perverts to live among society as if they were ordinary people."
