Journalist Tahir Sarıkaya detained
Journalist Tahir Sarıkaya has been detained by the Istanbul Provincial Gendarmerie Command's Organized Crime Branch (KOM) as part of the Cem Küçük investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office Organized Crime Investigation Bureau.
As part of the Cem Küçük investigation, Sarıkaya was detained by the Istanbul Provincial Gendarmerie Command's Organized Crime Branch (KOM).
It was determined that there were high-value money inflows and transfers of unknown origin in Sarıkaya's accounts, and that a portion of these transfers had been moved to crypto accounts.
Cem Küçük, who was detained within the same investigation on charges of "publicly disseminating misleading information" and "blackmail," was arrested by the court on August 1.
