Judicial appointments in the Official Gazette: HSK elects 8 new members to the Court of Cassation and 3 to the Council of State

The Council of Judges and Prosecutors (HSK) has elected a total of 11 new members to serve at the Court of Cassation and the Council of State.

According to the decision published in the Official Gazette, which has entered into force, the names elected as new members of the Court of Cassation following the meeting held by the HSK General Assembly are as follows:

Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor Şaban Yılmaz,

Izmir Karşıyaka Chief Public Prosecutor Ali Rıza San,

Istanbul Regional Court of Justice (BAM) Chamber President Osman Kiper,

Istanbul BAM Member Murat Boylu,

Izmit Chief Public Prosecutor Ferhat Kapıcı,

Istanbul Deputy Chief Public Prosecutor Murat Çağlak,

Deputy Secretary General of the HSK Murat Pala,

Istanbul High Criminal Court President Cengiz Doğan.

The new members of the Council of State are as follows:

Istanbul Regional Administrative Court President Ahmet Cüneyt Yılmaz,

Deputy Secretary General of the Council of State Burakhan Melikoğlu,

Ankara Regional Administrative Court 10th Administrative Litigation Chamber President Cengiz Aydemir.

The HSK will make appointments later to replace the chief public prosecutors, deputy chief public prosecutors, and judges who have been elected to the Court of Cassation and Council of State memberships.
