Justice and 'one-man rule' message from Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu: 'Time to fight'
Former CHP leader Kılıçdaroğlu stated, "In these extraordinary days when law and democracy are being suspended, I stand with our people as always, and I stand against one-man fascism."
Former Republican People's Party (CHP) Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu emphasized the need for a 'struggle' in a message shared on his social media account.
Kılıçdaroğlu wrote the following:
"The judiciary, which should be dispensing justice, has turned into a stick used to punish those elected by the nation.
Defenders of the principle of transparency, which is a requirement of democracy—journalists, politicians, scientists, and leaders of non-governmental organizations—are facing imprisonment and detention.
In these extraordinary days when law and democracy are being suspended, I stand with our people as always, and I stand against one-man fascism.
It is time to fight shoulder to shoulder!"
