Justice Minister Tunç intentionally did not answer CHP leader Özel's call: 'I was angry about the disinformation'
Developments and statements regarding the fire in Bolu Kartalkaya continue to remain on the agenda. While the documents shared by the parties regarding the 'responsibility' debate and their authenticity are being discussed, a notable statement came from Justice Minister Yılmaz Tunç regarding CHP Chairman Özgür Özel.
As the 'pirated' document debate between the CHP and the Justice Minister continues, Minister Tunç made a striking statement regarding the agenda.
Justice Minister Yılmaz Tunç made statements to Sinan Burhan, Editor-in-Chief of the Millet News Agency, regarding the claims made by CHP Chairman Özgür Özel about the fire in Bolu.
"I WAS ANGRY ABOUT THE DISINFORMATION"
Responding to the statements of CHP Chairman Özgür Özel, Minister Tunç used the following expressions;
“Mr. Özgür is not someone who cannot reach me. He calls me on many issues and we talk. He himself knows that we help in many matters. He did call this time, yes, and could not reach me. Because I intentionally did not answer his call. I was angry about the disinformation he engaged in.
“I SAW IT AS A GREAT IRRESPONSIBILITY”
I saw his manipulation of the painful incident in which we lost 78 people as a great irresponsibility. If he had wanted to learn the truth by calling me before sharing an unsigned, pirated text that had not been submitted to the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office as a report and publishing a social media message, I would have enlightened him. The fact that he called me after spreading non-factual information just to create confusion regarding the investigation shows that he is not acting in good faith on this matter.”
