Justice Minister Tunç makes statement regarding child abuse in Kayseri
Minister of Justice Yılmaz Tunç announced that the suspect detained in connection with the child abuse incident in Kayseri has been arrested by the court.
Justice Minister Tunç stated in a post on his X social media account, “The suspect detained within the scope of the investigation initiated by the Kayseri Chief Public Prosecutor's Office regarding the child abuse incident that occurred in the Melikgazi district of Kayseri has been arrested by the court.
The child and their family are under the protection of our state.
Investigations are being conducted by Chief Public Prosecutor's Offices regarding activities aimed at disrupting our nation's unity and our country's peace through Syrian refugees, as well as provocative attempts and baseless allegations made on social media, and detention orders are being issued,” he said.
Minister Tunç added, “The Republic of Turkey is a state of law. The independent and impartial Turkish judiciary is applying the necessary penalties within the framework of the law.
Those who want to sow seeds of discord among our nation by discriminating, marginalizing, and using hate speech will never reach their goal. Our noble nation, by acting with common sense, will never allow those who want to stir up our country to succeed,” he stated.
