Justice Minister Tunç's message: 'Best wishes for the 9th judicial package'

Minister of Justice Yılmaz Tunç expressed his best wishes for the Bill on Amendments to Certain Laws, known as the 9th judicial package, which was shared with the public by AKP Group Chairman Abdullah Güler and submitted to the Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM) by Denizli Deputy Cahit Özkan and his colleagues.

Providing information about the bill in a post on his social media account, Tunç stated the following:

"The bill includes significant regulations that increase the effectiveness of justice services, accelerate judicial processes, ensure effective combat against crime, strengthen the criminal justice system and legal security, ensure the protection and expansion of fundamental rights and freedoms, strengthen the institution of the family, and expand the areas of alternative dispute resolution methods in civil and criminal disputes.

I sincerely believe that the Bill, which consists of 39 articles amending 20 different laws, will be accepted in our Veteran Parliament through consensus and with the appreciation of our deputies.

Under the leadership of our President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, we will continue to work with determination to make the Century of Turkey the Century of Justice."
