Justice Minister Yılmaz Tunç on Öcalan's call: Our country will win
Justice Minister Yılmaz Tunç made his first remarks following the call by PKK terrorist organization leader Abdullah Öcalan. Regarding the call, Tunç stated, "When terrorism ends, our country will win. If the call is not heeded, the struggle will continue."
Justice Minister Yılmaz Tunç answered questions regarding the agenda on CNN Türk.
Evaluating the call by terrorist organization leader Abdullah Öcalan, who stated, "The PKK has led to a lack of meaning and excessive repetition. Therefore, it has completed its lifespan like its counterparts and its dissolution has become necessary," Tunç said, "When terrorism ends, our country will win. If the call is not heeded, the struggle will continue. There can be no question of bargaining. They will either lay down their arms or be buried with them."
Minister Tunç also added, "There was a ban on Kurdish. We have increased the opportunities for people to speak in their mother tongue."
