Social media post from Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu regarding 'Sinan Ateş'
Former CHP Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu reacted to the decision of non-prosecution in the Sinan Ateş investigation with a post on his X account.
Kılıçdaroğlu released a statement regarding Sinan Ateş, the former head of the Ülkü Ocakları who was killed in Ankara.
A decision of non-prosecution had been issued for all suspects in the second investigation conducted regarding Sinan Ateş, who lost his life as a result of an assassination in Ankara.
In his statement, Kılıçdaroğlu said, "While we are experiencing the pain of losing 78 of our citizens in the hotel fire that occurred in Bolu and while a period of mourning has been declared in our country, the decision of non-prosecution issued for all suspects in the second investigation file of the Sinan Ateş case, as if taking advantage of the opportunity, has once again wounded consciences."
Kılıçdaroğlu's post is as follows:
"The struggle we will wage to establish justice is the most valuable legacy left to us by past generations and the greatest trust we will leave to our future generations.
While we are experiencing the pain of losing 78 of our citizens in the hotel fire that occurred in Bolu and while a period of mourning has been declared in our country, the decision of non-prosecution issued for all suspects in the second investigation file of the Sinan Ateş case, as if taking advantage of the opportunity, has once again wounded consciences.
We will continue our struggle for justice with determination for fair, equal, and beautiful days."
