Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu's right-hand man comments on İmamoğlu and the party congress lawsuit: 'We are all accomplices'

Former CHP Deputy Chairman and 27th-term Ankara MP Bülent Kuşoğlu answered questions on the program "Memleket Meselesi" aired on tv100.

Describing the possibility of a ruling of absolute nullity in the June 30th case as a disgrace, Kuşoğlu said, "A stain of nullity should not fall on the CHP's forehead." He added that Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu also does not want a ruling of absolute nullity.

Kuşoğlu stated, "We cannot say there is nothing, nor can we say there is something. The CHP needs to be cleared. There should not be such a cloud of suspicion."

Bülent Kuşoğlu noted that Kılıçdaroğlu did not say "I will be a candidate" for the next party congress should he return to duty.

Former CHP Deputy Chairman Kuşoğlu said, "You trust a board of trustees that cannot conduct politics, that will weaken the party, and perhaps even lead to the party's closure, but you do not trust Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu. That is not how it works. A game is being played against the CHP. We need to solve this. This cannot be done by fighting; it can only be done by coming together."

Stating that "The party could be taken to a congress within 6 months. Actually, there is no problem within the party. Appearing on a program is taking responsibility," Kuşoğlu added, "I am giving a message to all CHP members that this party is a very sacred party. This party is essential for the country; otherwise, we will regret it very much later."

Regarding Ekrem İmamoğlu's description of Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu as his "accomplice," Kuşoğlu said, "He is making a political assessment. We are all accomplices. It is an accurate assessment. There is political complicity."

Kuşoğlu expressed that he feels ashamed to be discussing these issues while Turkey has so many other problems.
