National athlete Berkin Usta and his father Yahya Usta lost their lives in the fire, which started around 06:00 yesterday morning. 12 staff members inside the hotel were rescued by emergency teams.
Yahya Usta, President of the Turkish Ski and Snowboard Instructors Association, his wife Fikriye, and their son Berkin Usta, who were pulled from the hotel unconscious, were taken to a health center in Uludağ. Despite all interventions, Yahya Usta and Berkin Usta could not be saved.
