CHP Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu answered journalists' questions during a break at the "Anadolu Meeting Local Media Workshop 2023" program organized by the Marmaris Municipality.
In response to a journalist's question, "At this very moment, Israel has openly declared war. The Middle East is, in a sense, on fire. What are your views on this?" Kılıçdaroğlu replied, "Palestine has long been a country seeking its rights. We are always by the side of the Palestinian people. We never want there to be a war. International organizations must step in within democratic standards to both ensure peace and ensure that the rights of the Palestinian people are delivered."
"IT IS A GREAT DISASTER"
Regarding a journalist's question, "There have been contradictory statements from officials regarding the Turkish UAV downed by the US. Retired soldiers claimed that the F-16s that shot down the UAV took off from Incirlik Air Base. How do you evaluate this?" Kılıçdaroğlu stated, "We never find it right and do not accept the interference of another country in Turkey's sovereign rights. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of National Defense have not provided sufficiently enlightening information to the public on this matter. This is a great disaster."
