Kılıçdaroğlu puts two vehicles purchased during Özgür Özel's administration up for sale: 'Haram vehicle'

Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, who was brought to the party's leadership following an 'absolute nullity' ruling regarding the CHP convention lawsuit, had the CHP Headquarters evacuated by police force following the decision.  

While preparations were underway at the headquarters for an event Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu was to hold on May 30 under the name "public meeting," two official vehicles used by Özgür Özel were put up for sale in front of the building.

The signs on the vehicles, reading 'Haram vehicle for sale from Contractor Aziz' and 'Haram vehicle for sale from the Towel-maker Mayor,' drew attention.

The names 'Özkan Yalım' and 'Aziz İhsan Aktaş' were displayed on the license plate sections of the vehicles. 

MAHMUT TANAL REACTS

CHP Şanlıurfa Deputy Mahmut Tanal reacted to this action displayed in front of the CHP Headquarters. Stating, "Are these images displayed in front of the CHP Headquarters today not the same as the politics of discreditation that the AKP has used against the opposition for years?" Tanal made the following statements in a post on his social media account:

"Targeting people by writing names, declaring people guilty in advance with 'haram money' banners, conducting propaganda without a court ruling...

This method is not a method of law, but a method of perception management. Has the AKP not been trying to criminalize the opposition like this for years? Now, seeing the same language, the same tone, and the same political method within the CHP has created deep resentment in the party base.

Because the tradition of the Republican People's Party is not to expose people with posters, but to defend the law. In a state of law, courts decide on guilt, not social media campaigns.

This mindset does not grow the CHP; it plays into the hands of the ruling party. The duty of the opposition is not to resemble the AKP, but to be a democratic alternative against the lawless order created by the AKP."
