REACTIONS WERE SWIFT
Another figure who reacted to the arrests on social media was CHP Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu. Sharing on the X platform, Kılıçdaroğlu stated, ''Shame on those who treat journalism as a crime and see journalists as enemies.''
''IT IS A DISGRACEFUL DECISION''
Kılıçdaroğlu's post is as follows:
''Shame on those who treat journalism as a crime and see journalists as enemies. The arrest of journalist Tolga Şardan is a disgraceful decision. If you have an allegation such as “publicly disseminating misleading information,” then release the report; let everyone learn who is misleading the public and who is lying! The honor of the sentence “We are journalists, we are doing journalism” is enough for Tolga Şardan.''
