Kılıçdaroğlu responds to 'absolute nullity' reports about him: The claim is not true

Regarding the claims put forward by Sözcü columnist Saygı Öztürk about him in the event of an 'absolute nullity' ruling in the convention lawsuit to be heard on September 15, Kılıçdaroğlu stated, "None of the claims mentioned in the report in question are true." Kılıçdaroğlu described the reports in question as a provocation.

While the claim that Kılıçdaroğlu would sit in the General Chairmanship seat if an absolute nullity ruling is issued in the CHP convention lawsuit to be heard on September 15 remains on the agenda, Sözcü columnist Saygı Öztürk made various claims about Kılıçdaroğlu. Öztürk alleged that in the event of a favorable outcome for Kılıçdaroğlu, who is a party to the lawsuit as a "victim," he would not go to the CHP Headquarters immediately and would wait about a week for things to calm down. Öztürk also wrote the following:

"Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu will also watch the developments for a while, will make efforts for the incident to conclude without conflict or noise, and will issue warnings for party members to avoid provocative statements. Kılıçdaroğlu is in favor of going to the headquarters quietly. He will ask for provocations to be avoided. Kılıçdaroğlu will continue his work; we suggest that possible protests at the entrances and exits be taken into account and that Kılıçdaroğlu stay at the headquarters. There is even talk of putting a bed in the headquarters for this purpose. Kılıçdaroğlu will examine the work done from the time he left the chairmanship to the present day and will determine the new steps that can be taken in this process. Kılıçdaroğlu will initiate a liquidation process for some group deputy chairmen, members of parliament, and mayors who are alleged to be involved in corruption."

KILIÇDAROĞLU DENIED THE CLAIMS ABOUT HIM

The former leader, who has maintained his silence during the convention process, stated that Öztürk did not call him to verify the information and denied the claims in the article.

Kılıçdaroğlu made the following statement on social media:

"It has deeply saddened me that a journalist like Saygı Öztürk, whom I respect very much along with his readership, would report on a matter concerning me without asking me and without getting confirmation from me, and that he would become a tool for such an ugly provocation.

None of the claims mentioned in the report in question are true.

I repeat; I do not have a single relative I have spoken to for the purpose of conveying political messages to be passed on to members of the press. Please do not mislead the public with provocations."
