Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu and his team, who were brought to the CHP leadership through a decision of absolute nullity, have closed the doors to calls for an extraordinary congress.
Müslim Sarı, the spokesperson for the nullity administration in the CHP, announced that they have decided to hold an ordinary congress starting from the beginning of September, and that they will announce the details of the calendar, as well as the details of the district and provincial congresses, in the coming days. It is known that the ordinary congress process, which is planned to be initiated in September, will cover a period of 5-6 months.
THEY WILL GO TO COURT
The elected CHP Chairman Özgür Özel and his team, who are trying to reclaim the party administration from the nullity, have stated many times that they will use all legal avenues to the fullest. Most recently, the staff, noting that holding an extraordinary congress is mandatory with one more than half of the number of delegates, will apply to the civil court of peace if the Kılıçdaroğlu administration does not take this step.
KILIÇDAROĞLU'S CANDIDACY DECISION
It has been claimed that Kılıçdaroğlu, who gives a 'purification' message in every speech, has decided to run as a candidate in the first congress to be held after completing the said 'purification'.
Journalist Fatih Ergin shared flash behind-the-scenes information he received from the Kılıçdaroğlu camp during a program he attended on Meltem TV. According to what Ergin conveyed, Kılıçdaroğlu told his inner circle that he would be a candidate at the congress but would not be a presidential candidate:
“This is some behind-the-scenes information I received today. Following Müslim Sarı's statements. From an important name in the Kılıçdaroğlu camp. He says Kılıçdaroğlu wants to be a candidate. He says Kılıçdaroğlu's intention is to be a candidate. Kılıçdaroğlu even said, ‘Why should I leave after purifying the party? I will be a candidate at the congress, but I will not be a presidential candidate.’”
