Kılıçdaroğlu said 'I have no regrets' regarding Demirtaş's immunity decision: Harsh reaction from DEM Party's Sakık

Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, who returned to the CHP Chairmanship following a court decision, answered journalists' questions on television for the first time since the absolute nullity ruling.

Stating that he does not regret the vote he cast during the process of lifting the immunity of imprisoned former HDP Co-Chair Selahattin Demirtaş, Kılıçdaroğlu said, “I visited him many times. I know that an injustice has been done.”

DEM Party's Sırrı Sakık reacted to Kılıçdaroğlu's words.

Following Kılıçdaroğlu's statement that he is “not regretful” about the lifting of the immunity of imprisoned former HDP Co-Chair Selahattin Demirtaş, DEM Party's Sırrı Sakık reacted. Attacking Kılıçdaroğlu with the words, “I knew who and what you were, and I was lynched at the time for exposing it,” Sakık said, “You are a shameless fraud who is not even capable of feeling regret. We are the ones who are truly regretful for supporting you.” 

Sakık said the following in his post:

We are the ones who are truly regretful for supporting you. We went and voted for someone like you who doesn't have a single honest side. And the biggest mistake of my political life is going and asking for votes for you!”
