Kılıçdaroğlu wins: Jahrein to pay compensation

Former Republican People's Party (CHP) Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu has won the compensation lawsuit he filed against social media personality Ahmet Sonuç, known as 'Jahrein'.

"HE HAS MADE HIS INSULTS A HABIT"

Plaintiff Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu's lawyer, Uğur Çelik, stated in his statement regarding the merits of the case that all of the defendant Ahmet Sonuç's remarks fell under the scope of insults.

Lawyer Çelik stated that the defendant Sonuç had insulted his client, Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, on different dates and in different ways, making it a continuous behavior, and therefore requested that the claim for non-pecuniary damages be accepted in full.

Announcing the decision on his social media account "X", Çelik reported that one of the lawsuits they filed against Jahrein concluded today, and that accordingly, Jahrein was sentenced to pay 20,000 Turkish Lira in compensation.
