Killed by the husband she married a month ago: She was set to have her wedding in 6 months

Elazığ, a physiotherapy technician working at the Medical Hospital was killed by bullets fired from the gun of her husband, whom she had married a month ago, behind the hospital. It was learned that the unfortunate woman had signed a civil marriage contract with her husband last month and was set to have her wedding in August.

The incident occurred at the entrance of the Elazığ Medical Hospital Oncology Center.

According to the information obtained, Burcu Demir (32), who worked as a physiotherapy technician at the hospital, began talking in the garden with her husband, specialist sergeant M.C., with whom she had signed a civil marriage contract last month. A dispute then broke out between the two.

Following the argument, M.C. drew a pistol from his waistband and fired repeatedly at Demir. As the woman collapsed to the ground in a pool of blood, the suspect got into his vehicle and fled the scene.

Upon notification, health and police teams were dispatched to the scene.

The woman was determined to have lost her life during the initial examination by the medical teams.

The woman's relatives, who arrived at the scene, suffered nervous breakdowns.

The Murder Bureau teams of the Public Security Branch, who conducted an investigation in the area, launched a large-scale operation to apprehend the suspect.

On the other hand, it was learned that Burcu Demir had signed a civil marriage contract with M.C. last month and was going to have her wedding in August.

The woman's lifeless body was taken to the morgue for an autopsy following the public prosecutor's examination.
