According to a statement from Buckingham Palace, the 73-year-old Princess Anne had an accident yesterday evening at her Gatcombe Park estate in the Gloucestershire countryside. Following the incident, Princess Anne was taken to Southmead Hospital in Bristol due to a concussion and minor injuries.
It was noted that King Charles is being kept regularly informed about his sister's condition.
In a statement from the palace spokesperson, it was stated that Princess Anne is in good condition and is being kept in the hospital for observation.
Stating that her treatment will continue at Southmead Hospital unless doctors advise otherwise, the Buckingham Palace spokesperson announced that the Princess's official engagements have been postponed in accordance with medical advice, and she will not be attending the state banquet in honor of the Emperor of Japan.
