The echoes of the historic rally held by the CHP in Yozgat, known as an AKP stronghold, continue.

Ankara Research and Consultancy Director Mert Uzunsoy shared the field research results of the Yozgat rally on Sözcü TV. 

WHO ATTENDED THE RALLY AND FROM WHERE?

According to the data, face-to-face interviews were conducted with 876 people in the square and its surroundings between 11:30 and 16:30.

It was noted that field staff took care to interview only those who were carrying Turkish flags or portraits of Atatürk, or who were carrying banners or signs without political party logos, or who were not carrying any political material at all.

When asked, "Where are you attending the rally from?", 52 percent of the participants said they were from the Yozgat city center, while 29 percent stated they came from other districts. 

10 percent of the participants said they came from other cities in Central Anatolia, and 5 percent said they came from the Black Sea region.  

Uzunsoy emphasized that there was also significant participation from villages and shared the survey conducted in the rally square. 

75 PERCENT OF RALLY ATTENDEES SAID THEY WOULD VOTE FOR CHP

When participants were asked, "If there were a parliamentary general election tomorrow, which party would you vote for?", the rate of those who said CHP was 75.2 percent, the rate of those who said Zafer Party was 8.3 percent, and the rate of those who said IYI Party was 4.6 percent.

The vote shares of other parties are as follows:

  • YRP 3 percent
  • TİP 2.3 percent
  • DEM 1.1 percent
  • SOL Party 0.6 percent
  • MHP 0.5 percent
  • Other 1.3 percent
  • Undecided 1.9 percent
