Korhan Berzeg's bones found in a creek bed
It has been determined that the bones found in a creek bed in the Gönen district of Balıkesir belong to 83-year-old economist Korhan Berzeg.
The bones of economist Korhan Berzeg, whose cause of death remains unknown, were discovered in a creek bed in the Armutlu neighborhood of Balıkesir's Gönen district.
The bones, which were reached during detailed search operations conducted by gendarmerie teams accompanied by cadaver dogs on April 30, 2024, were identified as belonging to Korhan Berzeg following DNA analysis.
While the exact cause of death for the 83-year-old economist Berzeg is still under investigation, it has been learned that the bones and clothing will be handed over to the family once the final autopsy report is issued.
